Atomistic Continuum Modeling and Simulation of Testing of 2D Materials to Predict their Mechanical Properties
Graduate Research
Developing atomistic continuum model of 2D material like graphene using the concept of NURBS and differential geometry and simulating it to test the mechanical properties like elastic modulus, surface deformations, intrinsic breaking strength etc.
Aim is to validate the results with experiments carried out by different scientists.
